Collaborative Divorce
Collaborative Divorce is a more cooperative, less adversarial alternative to traditional, litigated divorce. It addresses the four most important aspects of divorce - legal, financial, parental and emotional - while avoiding the cost, stress and emotional toll of a court battle. In a collaborative divorce, each person works side-by-side with their collaboratively trained family lawyer. A specially trained financial advisor and family therapist are brought in, as needed, to craft a solution unique to the family's situation, with particular attention paid to parenting, tax, cash flow liquidity and other important details. Collaborative Divorce is an approach that promotes mutual respect and encourages team problem solving. The result is a solution that each spouse will not only accept, but will embrace.
